Jet suction dredger is a vessel for liftng sands and mud slurry from lake or dam. 

It has two pump in deck.  One pump supply the jet water to mix the sands and water at lake bed. while the othe mud pump to suction the mixture (sands and water) .  The slurry mud pump with about 40-50 m pump head, it can pump the sands with water thru the pipe line about 800-1000m far away. 

The jet suction dredger have advantage of depth suction distance and high sands production effection. 

It is low cost compare to the cutter suction dredger . which is popular in africa market for sands business. 


Accoring to the jet water  gun and suction sand pump  pipe layout fucnction, the jet suction dredger have two type: 


A:  The vertical jet head type dredger. 
B. the long bridge type jet suction dredger (whihc looks like a cutter suction dredger, but it is not equipped with cutter head)
